We also have Master Numbers to consider, but let\u2019s stick to the simple method first.<\/p>\n

Calculating your Life Path Number<\/h2>\n

Let\u2019s walk through this together.<\/p>\n

Step 1.<\/strong> To start, simply write out your full birth date, which means using the full year you were born: 1990 instead of just 90.<\/p>\n

To illustrate, I\u2019m going to use November 3, 1979, so it would be written as 11-03-1979. (I\u2019ll go through this for the simple number and then show you something about master numbers.)<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll go through several other examples as well to ensure you understand the method.<\/p>\n

Step 2.<\/strong> Now we\u2019ll reduce each set to a single digit number.<\/p>\n

So take the first set (the month, 11) and add it together. 1 + 1 = 2.<\/p>\n

Then take the day (03) and add those two numbers together. We get 3.<\/p>\n

Finally take the year, 1979, and add those numbers together. 1 + 9 + 7 + 9. We get 26.<\/p>\n

If you get two digits for any step, continue adding the numbers together until you get one. So for the year, we add 2 + 6 = 8.<\/p>\n

We now have 3 single digits: 2, 3, 8.<\/p>\n

Step 3.<\/strong> Add these 3 numbers together until you get a single digit number.<\/p>\n

When we add our numbers, we get 13. We add those (because it\u2019s a 2 digit number) and get the Life Path Number 4.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll go through the process with May 7, 1991.<\/p>\n

05-07-1991. So 0+5, 0+7, 1+9+9+1<\/p>\n

5-7-20, or 5-7-2+0<\/p>\n

5-7-2<\/p>\n

14, so 1+4=5. The Life Path Number is 5.<\/p>\n

Now I\u2019ll use a date that has double digits to begin with, such as December 17, 1995.<\/p>\n

12-17-1995.\u00a0\u00a0 (1+2, 1+7, 1+9+9+5)<\/p>\n

2-8-24. (Then add 2+4 to reduce that number.)<\/p>\n

2-8-6.<\/p>\n

16 = 1+6=7. The Life Path Number is 7.<\/p>\n

One last example to show how quickly you can do this once you learn how:<\/p>\n

4-25-1976<\/p>\n

4-7-23<\/p>\n

4-7-5<\/p>\n

16 = 7<\/p>\n

Master Numbers<\/h2>\n

So before we dive into what the different numbers mean, I\u2019d like to talk about the Master Numbers 11 and 22.<\/p>\n

The calculating method isn\u2019t really different, except that if one of your numbers is 11 or 22, you don\u2019t reduce that number.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s why the example of November 3, 1979 is interesting.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s say we calculated the Life Path Number this way:<\/p>\n

11-3-1979<\/p>\n

11 + 3 + (1+9+7+9) *We don\u2019t add 11 as 1+1, but leave it as 11.<\/p>\n

11 + 3 + 26<\/p>\n

11 + 3 + 8 = 22.<\/p>\n

Now the Life Path Number is 22, which correlates to The Master Builder. (I\u2019ll explain that one with the other numbers.)<\/p>\n

If any of your numbers add up to a total of 11, you wouldn\u2019t reduce that to 2. So if you\u2019re down to one number to reduce and it\u2019s 11, that\u2019s your number instead of 2.<\/p>\n

The Life Path number 11 correlates to The Healer.<\/p>\n
