Mercury Retrograde Survival Guide: 10 Tips That\u2019ll Change Everything<\/h2>\n

It\u2019s that time again!<\/p>\n

Three to four times a year, Mercury, the fastest moving planet in our solar system appears to stop on its orbit, stand still in space, and then travel backward.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s this backward motion that is being referred to when you hear people talking about Mercury \u201cin retrograde\u201d and each time it lasts for about three (looong!) weeks.<\/p>\n

1. BACK UP YOUR DATA<\/strong><\/h3>\n

This is number 1 so do it now!<\/p>\n

Because computers, phones, and electronic devices all reside under the watchful gaze of Mercury, when this planet retrogrades it can spin their operating systems out of whack.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t take any risks.<\/p>\n

2. COMMUNICATE CLEARLY!<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Plan important conversations.<\/p>\n

Check letters and emails before you send them, and make sure that all the information you need to convey is there in plain sight.<\/p>\n

6. TOUGHEN UP!<\/strong><\/h3>\n

If other people say things that upset you, don\u2019t take it so personally.<\/p>\n

Let it go.<\/p>\n

They\u2019re also being swept up in this retrograde tide, so give them the benefit of the doubt. They probably didn\u2019t mean it.<\/p>\n

If reality as you know it, appears to be dissolving in front of your eyes, stop running around like crazy trying to pick up the pieces!<\/p>\n
