I can even say that you must experience failures to grow.<\/p>\n

The person you want to be is bigger. And that person grew up by facing adversities with grace.<\/p>\n

And to be that kind of person. You must get used to stumbling from failure to failure, without any loss of enthusiasm…<\/p>\n

Like Winston S. Churchill had put it.<\/p>\n

Now…<\/p>\n

Why is this important?<\/p>\n

Because if you can\u2019t fail forward, you will stop moving.<\/p>\n

If you don\u2019t have the tenacity to go sail against the wind sometimes to get to your paradise island\u2026<\/p>\n

Then you might get blown away, or you might turn back.<\/p>\n

Let me give you an example\u2026<\/p>\n

Alice was a top student from her University. She excelled academically, no questions. She also did her best at her job. But once she got married, she thought of running her own business\u2026<\/p>\n

Because once she got kids, she had a dream of living with freedom.<\/p>\n

She wants time and financial freedom for her family. Her husband supports her and loves her very much\u2026<\/p>\n

But she didn\u2019t want to depend on her husband with their finances. She wanted to stand on her own.<\/p>\n

Why not? She was a Rockstar back in her university days!<\/p>\n

So she tried to launch her own big business right off the bat.<\/p>\n

She wanted to go big the first try because that\u2019s how she excelled at everything before.<\/p>\n

But she lives in a different world now.<\/p>\n

This might be the first time she experienced a big hard failure. And it didn\u2019t taste sweet.<\/p>\n

So there she went, coming from a university Rockstar…<\/p>\n

…to experiencing a startup failure. It isn\u2019t really a big deal for some people who are used to this. But she isn\u2019t.<\/p>\n

See, she played it safe because she doesn\u2019t really want to experience something like this. But when she had to, she did. And while it turned out ugly, it was a very great experience for her.<\/p>\n

Now, back to the story.<\/p>\n

Alice learned her lesson and she strived to be the person she wanted to be.<\/p>\n

Someone who can handle big failures and still push through. And so she did.<\/p>\n

She developed herself so she won\u2019t be attached to the results, instead, she\u2019ll focus on her effort.<\/p>\n

She developed herself so she will be able to stand against adversities.<\/p>\n

And she wanted to be someone who won\u2019t give up, no matter what happens.<\/p>\n

So she became a success.<\/p>\n

If you allow yourself to experience failure in a way that will push you forward to your goals\u2026<\/p>\n

Then fail forward.<\/p>\n

Just remember that you have to learn the lessons, apply, and repeat until you succeed.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t stop trying, but you have to be learning.<\/p>\n

Obviously, playing around and failing won\u2019t make it. Take it seriously.<\/p>\n

Now\u2026<\/p>\n

Here are a few tips to build that tenacious attitude:<\/h3>\n

Be Reasonably Fearless<\/h4>\n

We can also say\u2026<\/p>\n

Be fearless, but don\u2019t be reckless.<\/p>\n

Keep your fears under control. If you let it control you, instead of the other way around, I\u2019m sure you won\u2019t achieve your big goals.<\/p>\n

With that in mind, don\u2019t be reckless. Make sure your decisions are reasonable.<\/p>\n

Accept Reality.<\/h4>\n

Accepting the reality that when you want to chase down your dreams…<\/p>\n

…failures will stand between you and your goals. That\u2019s how it is. I can\u2019t change that for you.<\/p>\n

The sooner you accept that, the better it is for you. So the best way to deal with these failures is to analyze the situation and do your best to solve the challenges.<\/p>\n

Be Patient.<\/h4>\n

Sometimes, the challenge itself is about waiting. You don\u2019t have to face any tough tasks or do anything tiring or repetitive\u2026<\/p>\n

You just have to wait. And some people just don\u2019t like waiting. But oftentimes, we should.<\/p>\n

So be patient and find ways to be more productive in your time.<\/p>\n
