Sure, there\u2019s nothing wrong with asking for or needing help, but it\u2019s different when we know we can do it on our own.<\/p>\n

The feeling of liberation is one you won\u2019t get anywhere else. <\/p>\n

To know that you are in charge of your life somehow, that you are in control (even when things seem out of it), and to be liable for your actions is priceless.<\/p>\n

But sometimes when we\u2019re experiencing hardships, we feel like we\u2019re behind the game. We look around and see how other people are doing and they seem to be doing loads better than we are. <\/p>\n

What you don\u2019t know is that someone may be looking at you and thinking the same thing.<\/p>\n

So here are a few signs that means you\u2019re staying on top of your game:<\/p>\n

#1.You\u2019re paying for your own things<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Financial independence is something we all need to attain. It\u2019s not just for the single people out there. Even if you\u2019re in a couple or even married, you need to be financially independent of your partner or your family.<\/p>\n

Money can be a big issue when it comes to relationships. It has the power to corrupt, to turn friends and families into stangers, and to dissolve partnerships. If you\u2019re able to neutralize the situation by not needing to depend on others to finance you, the more you\u2019ll be able to cherish them and feel good about yourself.<\/p>\n

#2. You aren\u2019t just dating for the sake of it<\/strong><\/h3>\n

We get it, being alone kind of sucks. That can be true. But it\u2019s also true that being on your own can be pretty awesome too. <\/p>\n

You have to learn how to be by yourself before you couple up with anyone. People pressure themselves into finding a mate, even if they know it\u2019s not the right one because of what others think they should have. <\/p>\n

If you\u2019re the kind of person who doesn\u2019t give in to this kind of idea, then you\u2019re already ahead of the curve.<\/p>\n

#3. You\u2019ve stopped relying on others for validation<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Sure, the occasional compliments here and there are something to crave for. So is the appreciation for doing something well. But a person who has it together gets both from themselves first rather than sit around and wait for others to dole them out.<\/p>\n

Look, the person you need to impress the most is yourself. Then comes everybody else. <\/p>\n

#4. You\u2019ve loosened up<\/strong><\/h3>\n

When you already know which things you can control and which ones you should just let go, then you\u2019ve stepped up on the maturity level.<\/p>\n

Being in control of your life is one thing, but wanting to control much more is impossible. Those who have it figured out more than others have already accepted that they will never be able to fully navigate everything in their lives. That there are things out of their control.<\/p>\n

If you know how to stop yourself from poring over every little detail of your life, you know you have it good.<\/p>\n

#5. You know how to respect your body<\/strong><\/h3>\n

As you get older and wiser, you realize how much your body means to you. You know your body inside and out, you know its limits, you know its strength and weaknesses, and you know how to take care of it.<\/p>\n

A lot of people take their health for granted. They abuse their bodies and later on wonder what happened. Someone who\u2019s doing fine will have already realized that their bodies are temples. Without it, it\u2019ll be near impossible to accomplish the things we want to.<\/p>\n
