10 Steps to Attract the Life You Want

“What you seek is seeking you.” - Rumi
If I told you that you could create the exact type of circumstances you want, would you call me crazy?
What if your very thoughts could create ripples of change that not only impact your life…
…but those around you as well?
Philip, a call center worker from the Philippines certainly didn't think so. He dreamed of moving overseas so he could secure a better life and provide for his family.
But at every turn, his own mind shut down every opportunity he thought of.
For instance, Philip considered seeing an immigration consultant, but he either “didn't have the time” or “couldn't afford it”.
So, he resented his situation and cursed himself (and the world) for his “bad luck”.
He didn't realize that the real culprit was his mindset - not his circumstances.
And it seemed like the more he ruminated, the more bad things happened.
Thus, he kept feeding the cycle of being stuck in a rut and feeling bad, trapping him even more.
That was, until his aunt Sara introduced him to the Law of Attraction.
Turning the tide
Before she moved to California, Sara had been close with Philip and treated him like a son.
She had her own share of struggles finding greener pastures abroad, but she applied the principles from the Law of Attraction to overcome them.
So she sent a few books on the topic to Philip through Amazon so he could gain the clarity to turn his life around.

At first, Philip didn't really think much of it, but he decided to read through the books since his aunt went through the trouble of sending it over.
After he started applying the lessons he learned from the material, things started to change for him.
It came as a complete shock to Philip - he never thought in a million years that making a simple shift in his thinking could have such a direct and POWERFUL impact in his life.
And soon enough, the fog of negativity and despair around Philip lifted and he found a way to make his dreams happen.
Through his persistence, he was eventually able to borrow the money he needed for the consultation fees, and learned the step-by-step process to get work overseas.
Philip was finally able to find a fulfilling and rewarding career in Australia. Not only does he get to support his family back home, he also made friends and enjoys his new life abroad.
Just a few months ago, Philip's parents started their own business, thanks to his help.
At the rate they're going, his family could save enough so they can pass on their business to another relative and follow Philip to Australia. ould wait for Philip to take the offer so they can move there instead.
Whatever option Philip chooses, the possibilities for him are almost limitless.
But he's just one of thousands who made the Law of Attraction to work for him. Like Philip, a lot of people are initially discouraged to try because they think it takes a lot of work.
But the reality is that it's surprisingly easy to get started. You just need to follow these 10 Super Simple Steps to Attract Everything You've Ever Wanted:
Step #1: A little gratitude goes a long way
The first thing you should learn about the Law of Attraction is that it operates on energy.
YOUR energy, to be exact.
Everyone has a different kind of energy they bring into the world, and it affects them in ways they often don't see or appreciate.
The secret lies in the FREQUENCY of a person's energy - and you need to raise yours in order to change your life.
Think of your unique energy as a sort of gas that fills the space of your reality. Whatever “gas” or “energy” you pump out into your immediate space will define your existence.
Viktor Frankl, a psychiatrist and Holocaust survivor, said this in his book, “Man's Search for Meaning”:
“To draw an analogy: a man's suffering is similar to the behavior of a gas. If a certain quantity of gas is pumped into an empty chamber, it will fill the chamber completely and evenly, no matter how big the chamber. Thus suffering completely fills the human soul and conscious mind, no matter whether the suffering is great or little. Therefore the "size" of human suffering is absolutely relative.”
So if you want to invite great things into your life, you need to set the stage first. And you can do that by leading with the right energy.
That's why being grateful and appreciating what you have is powerful way to recalibrate your frequency.
Most folks hold off on feeling this way for AFTER they get what they want. But that's putting the cart before the horse, as the saying goes.
When you LEAD with gratitude, it will act as the precedent for everything good that follows.

What I like to do is start of my day by making a list of things that I'm grateful for. If I miss anything, I save it for later and update my list at the end of my day.
And when I go over my list during the weekend, I'll see exactly how much good stuff I've accumulated.
This creates a kind of snowball effect and helps me attract even MORE good stuff down the road.
Step #2: Be generous
This can be a challenge for some people if they feel like there isn't enough to go around.
But if you take the initiative to SHARE whatever you can without asking anything in return…
… you'll generate the kind of energy that attracts prosperity for everyone…
…including YOU.
Again, this is the Law of Attraction at work.
Try offering your time, talents and material wealth to those who need it - you'll soon invite blessings without even trying.
Step #3: Visualize your future
What I find amazing about kids is how powerful their imaginations are.
When they role-play with other children, you can see in their eyes how REAL their games are to them.
This is something that's lost on grown-ups, and it's important to recapture that ability to envision the kind of reality you want.
The Universe likes to play games with us- the better you are at visualizing, the more you'll be rewarded.
Like I said, a certain type of energy attracts a certain kind of reality.
So if you focus your energy and thoughts on that dream job you want or the car you've always wanted to drive, you'll raise your frequency to ATTRACT those exact things.
Step #4: Let the negativity pass
When the bad times roll in and you feel like dirt, sometimes it's better to step aside and let it run its course.
Having negative thoughts and emotions are totally normal, but you don't always have to wrestle with them.
You can simply acknowledge what's going on in your inner world - then CHOOSE to keep moving forward anyway.
Let this negative energy pass through your system like bad case of gas. The sooner you let it do its thing, the quicker you can get back to what you were doing.
(Sorry for the fart analogy, but it get the point across, doesn't it?)
Step #5: Never stop growing
It's good to have a daily routine in your life, but not at the expense of your personal development.
Most people are so set in their ways that they're afraid of the thought of doing something new.
Then they complain about their humdrum lives, or that some folks “have all the luck.”
Breaking out of your comfort zone is never an easy thing, but it's a step worth taking.
No matter how loaded your schedule is, find some chunks of time to do things that will help you grow.
Whether it's taking an online course, joining a community, or taking up a hobby, this is a powerful way to attract new and exciting things in your life.
Step #6: Avoid the “toxic” crowd
There are people who seem hell-bent on pulling others into their world of misery.
Whether they're trying to lessen their own pain or simply enjoy doing it, you need to steer clear of them.
Instead, choose people who will have the opposite effect on your psyche. Not only does a person's energy attract circumstances, it's also CONTAGIOUS.
So make sure you hang out with the people who'll inspire you to achieve greater things - and not bring you down with apathy or inaction.

Step #7: Give yourself permission to succeed
Most of the world's most brilliant people were put down in some way.
Somewhere along the way, someone told them they'd “never make it” or were “destined to fail.”
In your own life, certain people have tried to discourage you in some way.
They might have tried putting you down when you were growing up - or it could have been last week.
It doesn't matter.
What's important is that you understand that NO ONE can put labels on you.
And more importantly, they can NEVER give you permission to achieve what you want in life. You need to do that for yourself.
Don't let their words define your “story”. You don't have to fit whatever petty narrative they're trying to force on you.
Step #8: Affirm who you are
Instead of feeding into the lies that people tell you, let this be the day to start living your truth.
Create statements that embody the truth you choose to be, AND to live in.
People do this all the time.
When Elon Musk tried to launch the world's first privately owned rocket and failed, he told himself, “I'm going to try again, and I WILL get that thing into orbit.” (Well, maybe not exactly like that, but you get the point.)
And so his company SpaceX went back to the drawing board and got it right after the third attempt.
Elon affirmed his truth and it manifested into reality. In the same way, you can choose to affirm whatever truth applies to you.
Be honest with yourself and acknowledge the things that TRULY matter to you.
You know it, and the Universe knows it.
The key is to repeat it yourself every day. For example, if you know deep in your heart that you want to make a better life for yourself, you can say something like this:
“I may be struggling right now, but I know deep inside that I have what it takes to improve my life. I see myself transforming into a happier, wealthier person who makes other people's lives brighter.”
When you operate from even the tiniest shred of truth, you can grow that into a powerful force over time.
Step #9: Fail spectacularly
Here's something most people don't know about the Law of Attraction: before you can enjoy success and find true happiness, you need to crash and burn.
It's better to go after what you want and risking failure rather than playing it safe and not trying at all.
To create order in your life, you'll have to embrace the chaos that comes before it.
This is where you'll find the real lessons, even if they hurt a little.
(Or in some cases, a LOT).
Think of yourself as the beautiful Phoenix, like in the legends.
Imagine burning off bits and pieces of yourself that you don't need. As you rise from the ashes, you're reborn into a NEW YOU.
That's evolution. It may be an imperfect and unpleasant process, but the results are worth it.
Step #10: Remove your BIGGEST barrier to success
People don't realize that their greatest roadblock is none other than their own mindset.
They may say they want something to happen, but don't REALLY mean it.
For instance, someone might want to lose weight, but they don't want it bad enough.
Worse, they might not actually believe they can shed those pounds. A part of them refuses to acknowledge the faintest possibility of it happening.
This is pretty much why people NEVER attract the things they want in life.
In order to remove this barrier, you'll need to change something inside you.
You need to dig deep and understand WHY you don't want it as much as you say you do.
Are you scared of suffering through the process of getting what you want?
This is what turns most people off - they simply can't process the discomfort involved with growing up.
At the same time, you need to deal with the reasons why you think that your desired reality is impossible.
It could be some deep-seated beliefs brought about by past events, or experiences growing up.
Once you sort this out, you'll be free to do what you want without any pre-programmed beliefs holding you back.
Now, these ten steps we just talked about will get your foot in the door. Once you start doing them regularly, you'll experience remarkable breakthroughs you didn't think were possible.
But if you want to witness even MORE changes on a massive (or even cosmic) scale, you need to check out my FULL course called Manifestation Miracle.

5 Simple Ways to Change Your Life With The Law Of Attraction (Learn This)
By Heather Mathews
Author of Manifestation Miracle <= [Link this text via your affiliate link]
“Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.” - Rumi
Johanna, a college student from Kuala Lumpur, had been struggling to finish her studies.
She was living in a dorm with other students, and had trouble making ends meet.
Johanna was on a scholarship which meant she needed to keep her grades high while working part-time to support her living expenses.
Strapped for time and resources, she barely got by and started feeling burnt out. If Johanna wasn't hitting the books, she was working.
Everything started to become a blur and she was losing motivation to keep going.
It got so bad that Johanna even thought about telling her parents she couldn't do it anymore and drop out from college.
But then a classmate from her philosophy class introduced her to the Law of Attraction.
Jacques, a foreign exchange student from Canada, had been reading up on it and applied it in his own life.
According to him, it had helped him manifest a solution to his own problems.
He had lived in an abusive home growing up, and Jacques leaned how to shift his thinking and perspective to change his circumstances.
Johanna wasn't sure at first what to make of it, but she took Jacques word for it and started applying its principles in her own life.

After she made a shift in her own mindset and attitude, Johanna started to experience some positive changes.
She eventually quit her part-time job and found another one with better pay and hours which helped with her living expenses.
It also helped free up her time, so she managed to study AND start a side income project selling items online.
Johanna ended up growing her side business so much that she got Jacques to help her manage it.
By the end of the academic year, she had turned into a completely different person.
Johanna was no longer the depressed, burned out student from before. She had become a self-sufficient student and even made the dean's list!
The Power of Changing Your Focus
Sometimes, we get so discouraged that we feel powerless to change our situation.
Like Johanna, we fall into a FIXED mindset where we think things will stay the same and we can't do anything about it.
But the only way to break out of this negative spiral is by changing your INNER world.
This is the key to influencing your external world so you can move forward in life.
In a nutshell, the Law of Attraction is a way of living that requires you to change your frequency.
When you do this, the Universe will pick up your signal and your life will change for the better.
As for the frequency I mentioned, this is basically the vibration of energy that your mind gives off.
You can either operate at a high or low vibration, and each type will give you a specific result.
Most people don't realize they're giving off low frequency energy, which is actually making their situation worse.
Click Here To Discover the Lazy Person's Secret To Get Everything You've Ever Wished For <= [Link this text via your affiliate link]
The main problem is when you attach your emotions to your external circumstances.
For instance, it's easy to feel bad when you're broke. And naturally, it's just as easy feel the opposite if you had money in the bank.
Similarly, seeing other people in a happy, romantic relationship will make you bitter and angry if you're single.
And so on…
I'm not saying it's wrong to feel bad about things like that. However, you shouldn't use your circumstances (and how you FEEL about them) as an excuse to STOP trying.
People fail to realize that NOT doing anything about their situation will only make them feel WORSE. And this further traps them in a vicious cycle of negativity and inaction.
Thus, the Law of Attraction will help you install a more positive attitude in your consciousness.
This keeps your mind from being overrun by negativity - and more importantly, give you the leverage to BREAK FREE from your situation.
With some practice, your thoughts and actions will effortlessly work together to attract positive circumstances in your life.
But where should you start? Here are some ways to put the Law of Attraction into action and start creating massive changes:
#1: Share Your Gifts to the World
The Bible talks about the power of giving, and how it outweighs the benefits of getting.
But no matter what your faith or beliefs are, it helps to think of generosity on a LARGER SCALE.
Giving is more than just a virtue - it's a type of cosmic currency.
When you perform acts of kindness or share your resources for no other reason than WANTING TO, you're putting this currency into circulation.
And soon enough, this positive energy you send into the world - and the Universe as a whole - will find its way back to you.
You won't get it in the same form, but it will come around, one way or another.
I know that sometimes, giving feels like the LAST thing you want to do - especially when your own life is lacking in some capacity.
Why bother extending yourself when you've got enough to worry about for yourself?
But that's exactly the point.
Giving - even when you THINK you can't - will prove that this is a FALSE perception.
Let your acts of generosity serve as a reminder to everyone that in spite of everything, life IS and will ALWAYS be abundant.
Trust in the infinite energy of the Universe and tune into its unique frequency.
Your selflessness is the key to that. A generous attitude raises the quality of the vibrations you send out into the world.
Escaping the scarcity mindset and the fear of not having enough is one of the most liberating things you can do.
By doing so, you're FREE to improve the lives of others - and yours in the process.

#2: Stop hanging out with losers
I don't mean to sound judgmental, but there are people in your life that will try to drag you down, whether they're aware of it or not.
You should avoid them at all costs.
People in a bad situation will try to feel better about themselves by spreading their toxic way of thinking to others.
They pull others down with their hurtful words, or convince them that they're not good enough.
Instead of doing something about their own situation, it's easier to go down this dark path and take everyone else with them.
And the Law of Attraction states that when you focus on something, the Universe will feed you more of the SAME.
So the good news is that you can choose to avoid this downward spiral and get on another path instead.
This is why you need to be careful about the company you keep. Choose the people that can share their constructive energy with you.
If their attitude, mindset and words lift you up, you know you're in the right place.
Their energy is contagious, and you'll naturally raise your own frequency and attract only good things in your life.
As for toxic people, I know there are times when you simply can't avoid them.
They could be family, friends, or co-workers - and you might be even living with some of them.
It's a challenge for sure, but do your best not to let their negative energy get to you.
You don't have to butt heads with them and simply respond with positivity.
If you're in a conversation with them, try to frame it in a healthy, positive way so you don't get sucked into their toxic field of gravity.
You don't have to change their mind; just take the “agree to disagree” route and leave it at that.
Who knows, your own energy might “rub off” on their consciousness. They might even think about what you told them and re-evaluate their own perspective.
#3: Get out from under the grind
We all have our lives to lead, and that means falling into a routine.
Now, don't get me wrong - having structure in your life is important and even necessary.
At a basic level, we need it to function on a daily basis. Incorporating helpful habits into your everyday routine is a GOOD thing.
However, there is a danger in being TOO embedded in it and shutting yourself off to trying NEW things.
Sticking too closely to your routine could make you afraid of the unfamiliar and uncomfortable - and hinder your GROWTH in the process.
So if you want to attract new and exciting things into your life, you should carve out some room for that.
Click Here To Learn How To Use Destiny Tuning To Manifest The Life You Want <= [Link this text via your affiliate link]
Doing things that help you grow ALWAYS has a place in a well-balanced life. A stable, healthy routine is the best way to avoid a soul-crushing existence.
What are the things that inspire you?
Outside of your usual chores and duties, what gives you a sense of fulfillment - even if it doesn't pay the bills?
People usually shoot down any desire for this because they're afraid they “don't have enough time.”
But you'll see just how flimsy that excuse is once you actually take the plunge and spend that time you didn't think you had.
In as little as half an hour, you could engage in a fulfilling pursuit. Find (or rekindle) a hobby, take up an online course or watch free videos.
Let it energize your senses, inspire you to greatness and empower you to create something wonderful in this world.
More than that, you can acquire knowledge to advance you in some way, like learning a skill, for example.
I recently came across a post on Twitter that made me smile.
It said: “There's too much free information online for y'all not be crushin it in whatever field.”
Use your precious time to invest in a better you and express yourself through your passions.
Don't worry about the “if”s and “how”s. Just get started with something now, and the rest of your life will adjust to it.
You won't know what new avenues will open up UNTIL you get the ball rolling,
#4: Quiet your mind
Meditation is one habit that goes very well with practicing the Law of Attraction.
When you learn how to control your thoughts (instead of the other way around), you're in the best position to manifest the things you want.
A lot of people find it challenging to keep their thoughts above water when they're flooded with negative emotions.
With meditation, you can take a step back and remove yourself from a situation in a healthy way.
There are books, free content online and mobile apps that can help you with this.
For instance, I just tried out the Insight app on my phone which is kind of like the YouTube equivalent for meditation.
Click Here To Learn How To Use Destiny Tuning To Manifest The Life You Want <= [Link this text via your affiliate link]
You can search by a specific person or channel, or even topics like easing anxiety, anger management, and so on.
This is a low-maintenance habit which will only take about 10-15 minutes daily. You could even spend five minutes if you're really strapped for time!
This basically works by sitting down on the floor (or a chair) and closing your eyes.
The idea is to take slow, measured breaths and pay attention to the physical sensations you're feeling at the moment.
Are your muscles tense? Is your heart beating quickly from the stress you're currently experiencing?
These are some of the things to be mindful of as you breathe in and out. If any other thoughts enter your mind, don't resist it.
Don't chase after them and just let it pass. Then you can go back to focusing on the rhythm of your breath.
Take this time to focus on the feelings of love, health, success and prosperity.
In other words, the things you want to ATTRACT.
Concentrate your attention on inhaling and exhaling. Once you've calmed your mind enough, you're ready visualize the things you want to manifest in life.
This will have a powerful effect on your subconscious and put you on the path towards your goals.
And that brings us to the last life-changing habit…
#5: Affirmations
Muhammad Ali, one of the greatest boxers in history, was known for saying, “What you're thinking is what you're becoming.”
Indeed.
That attitude helped him become what he was, and it will serve you well, too.
Most of the time, people don't pay attention to the kind of thoughts they hold in their heads.
Left unchecked, they often feed into a toxic narrative they have about themselves without realizing it.
Like I said earlier, what you put in your subconscious affects you.
The things you tell yourself are like seeds you plant in your mind and they'll grow over time. Those same thoughts will express themselves in your actions and the choices you make.
So, you need to be careful which seeds you plant.
Joseph Murphy, author of the book, “The Power of the Subconscious Mind”, tells us that this part of your mind can't distinguish which thoughts are real or imagined.
As far as it's concerned, your subconscious will treat it as FACT whether it's happening in the physical world or NOT.
Thus, people don't just operate on these subconscious beliefs. Without being aware of it, they're turning their thoughts into reality.
And it WILL happen - one way or another.
The perception you have about yourself is largely influenced by the people you had around while growing up.
Their input - whether good or bad - left a mark on your subconscious that's hard to shake off.
And this programming kicks in whenever you make decisions and it dictates how you respond to tough times.
This inner dialogue can act as your inner voice of confidence and self-assurance…
…or as in most people's cases, it's the voice of fear and self-doubt.
You might think you're not good enough or smart enough because you couldn't stop the bad things from happening.
You curse yourself for messing things up, then blame it on some pre-assigned character defect.
Usually, it's in the form of labels like “Loser”, “Hopeless Case”, “Slacker”, “Weirdo” and so on.
But remember, these labels only have as much power over as you ALLOW it.
You can apply the Law of Attraction to change this inner chatter and rewire your mind for success instead.
It's impossible to attract wealth, abundance and happiness if you're focused on putting yourself down.

You can do the opposite by using encouraging statements that will empower you to take action.
Here are some examples to try during your meditation sessions:
- Affirmations that span across time: Think about what's already happened, what's happening now, and what's yet to come. Then put it all together like this: “BEFORE, I was broke, miserable and hated the world. But I know better NOW and want to turn it around. Things are about to change, and SOON I'll be prosperous, happy and living my dream life.”
- Affirmations that are crystal clear: Saying something like “I am loved” or “I am blessed” is a good start, but they're a bit vague. Try elaborating on these ideas and flesh them out even more. Then you'll end up with a statement like “I'm surrounded by people who love and support me. They help me grow as a person and want to see me succeed.” As for being blessed, you can say “I'm blessed with infinite opportunities and resources, and my life is full and abundant.”
- Affirmations with an attitude: Another way to supercharge your subconscious is by being a little cheeky with your statements. When that voice of fear and insecurity kicks in, drown out the noise with, “Whatever, I'm amazing at everything I do. I fight like hell and do my best, and I can't hear what you're saying!” Adding some lighthearted humor amplifies your signal and makes it easier for the Universe to hear your thoughts. Try this the next time you're feeling especially down on yourself.
When you improve the quality of your thoughts, it's as if your circumstances will rearrange itself on their own.
These changes will seem to happen without doing much on your part. But the truth is that you're already doing the heavy lifting by disciplining your mind.
Starting today, you can apply these five tips I've just shared with you to create ripples of change in your life.
The more you practice them, the bigger waves will result from your efforts. I hope you make use of this knowledge and empower yourself for greatness.
Before I go, there's ONE MORE gift I'd like to share with you…

Top 7 Law Of Attraction Tips To Manifest More Of What You Want!
By Heather Mathews
Author of Manifestation Miracle ⇦ [Link this text via your affiliate link]
“Everything is within your power, and your power is within you.” ― Janice Trachtman
Charlie, a stay at home dad, works out of his living room while looking after his three-year-old toddler. As a social media consultant, he depends on his laptop to make a living.
The problem is that his beat up computer was as old as his kid, and it was always glitching on him.
So Charlie kept focusing on getting a new computer – a 13-inch Macbook Pro in particular.
Eventually, his old laptop gave out, which made him panic a bit. So Charlie went online to look for another one while having the shiny new Macbook in the back of his mind.
After hours of searching, he couldn’t find a reasonably priced model. So he was about to settle on another type of laptop and was close to closing the sale.
But at the last minute, Charlie decided to check the price listings for a used version of the computer that he REALLY wanted.
And just like that, someone was selling a six-month old Macbook Pro for a price significantly cheaper than a store-bought one.
So Charlie got what he wanted, and at a better deal than he had hoped for!
Now, Charlie’s incredible stroke of luck seemed like a fluke to him at first, but then another awesome thing happened shortly after.
You see, Charlie was also looking for a new job because he felt stuck in his current one. So he had his sights set on another company with a position in mind.
The truth was that he wasn’t all that confident he was even qualified for the position, but he went over the job description again and again.
Charlie even printed the job ad and put it on his refrigerator door so he could see it every day.
A couple of weeks after his interview, he got a call from the company and said he got the job.
On Charlie’s first day, his new boss told him, “Honestly, your skillset isn’t an exact match for what we were looking for.
But I really liked how you did at the interview…and besides, we can train you for the other things you need to learn, anyway.
You have a great attitude and that’s more important than being 100% qualified for the job.”

Is It Coincidence - Or Something Else at Work?
It’s easy to brush off Charlie’s streak as plain dumb luck, but could he have WILLED his good fortune to happen?
After all, the common element between getting his new laptop and the new job was that he focused on both things intensely.
Charlie kept it in his thoughts all the time. More than that, he created a detailed picture of his desired state in his mind.
He imagined what it would be like to hold his new laptop and how he’d feel working in the new job he was aiming for.
Charlie visualized both scenarios so vividly that he could almost taste it.
Whether he knew it or not, he was putting the basic principle of The Law of Attraction to work - and it served him well.
As the name implies, this law decrees that “like attracts like.”
There’s a global movement behind this belief, and it says that the kind of thoughts you send out to the Universe emit a certain frequency – be it helpful or harmful.
And you have the power to control the wavelength you operate on, which in turn attracts circumstances that match your energy.
So by focusing on positive outcomes and giving out positive vibrations, you can turn your thoughts into a tangible force of good in your life!
On the other side of the coin, dwelling on the negative aspects of life and focusing your attention on the things you resent attracts even MORE negativity into your world.
Like Charlie, you can think of something specific you want, and hold that image in your mind.
Create all the details that bring the picture to life, then believe that you already have it.
When you go about your day thinking that the object of your desire is already a matter of fact…
…this sends out a clear, strong message to the Universe that you truly WANT and BELIEVE it.
But this is just the tip of the iceberg; there are other ways to raise your frequency even higher.
By following these 7 Tips to Create the Life You’ve Always Dreamed Of, you’ll naturally attract everything you’ve ever wanted – and MORE:
#1: Set aside time to focus on what you desire
The first habit is simple enough: give yourself at least 5-7 minutes daily to visualize the things you want to turn into reality.
You can do this by finding a quiet place to contemplate, then sit upright with your eyes closed. While keeping your desires front and center in your thoughts, breathe deeply in and out.
Focus on your breath and the sensations your body is feeling, and use that as anchor to keep your thoughts from straying.
If your mind does go on a tangent, gently bring yourself back to your breathing AND your desired future state.
You’ll get a lot of benefits from doing this for just a few minutes every day. For instance, many studies have proven the stress-reducing properties of meditation.
A study at the Massachusetts General Hospital showed that people who tried their meditation program experienced significantly less health problems than before.
They ended up not having to see a doctor or go to the emergency room, saving them about $2,300 in medical costs for EACH person!
On top of that of course, meditation also helps you keep your eye on the prize and give you the determination to make it happen.
Some people however, have trouble meditating and get easily distracted.
If you need a little guidance with this habit, I’ve got a special gift for you – but more on that later…
#2: Be grateful and practice gratitude
Ever hear the expression “Thank your lucky stars”?
Back in ancient times, people believed that celestial bodies played a huge role in someone’s destiny.
Today, many still believe that these same external forces affect our lives.
The Law of Attraction draws from this belief, and it states that we should be gratefull whenever the Universe sends something good our way.
This is another way of fine tuning your frequency. When you actively pay attention to the positive things that happen around you, it acts like a magnet that attracts similar things.
And by being thankful for your blessings, you’re sending a powerful message to the Universe that essentially translates to:
“Thank you, that was awesome! More please!”
#3: Take a leap of faith
The main challenge that people have with manifesting their desires is dealing with the world of the intangible.
It can be daunting (and even discouraging) to imagine a future outcome that hasn’t happened yet.
It takes some faith to push past that hazy uncertainty, and not everyone has it in them to do so.
So you need to check your inner Doubting Thomas at the door for a moment and appreciate how other people have used the Law of Attraction to succeed.
Consider the great figures from the past: Albert Einstein, Nelson Mandela, Marie Curie, Vincent Van Gogh and Nikola Tesla.
All of them were shining examples of how they used their mind and willpower to create something valuable in this world.
They raised their own frequency and as result, had a different energy from the rest of humanity.
Even though they’re gone, their legacy lives on, and we can still feel its impact today.
It’s all because they took a brave step into the unknown.
Even though they couldn’t see how their work would ripple through the next several decades, they still powered through.
The skepticism that people have is the result of growing up.
As you get older and have more experiences, a certain amount of jadedness sets in.
That’s why you won’t find any of that in kids. Just think about how children play make-believe.
When they yell, “The floor is lava!” you can bet they’ll be scrambling for the nearest couch or chair to avoid getting “burned.”
On a certain level, they TRULY believe that the floor is literally molten rock.
They can see the hot, glowing lava, burning everything its path…
…and they do everything to stay out of its way.
That’s the power the mind and imagination in action.
Learn how to see the world on this level again. That way, you can see a bright future before it happens – then go on to make it a reality.

#4: Keep on keepin’ on
One of the realities of this world is that you can’t eliminate adversity.
It’s always going to be an uphill climb at some point, especially when you’ve just taken on a new challenge.
You’ve been eating right and working out, but the pounds aren’t quite flying off as you’d hoped.
You started a side income project, but your cash flow hasn’t been anything more than a trickle.
You’ve tried beating your depression with exercise, therapy and medication, but the dark thoughts still charge at you like a freight train.
That’s called RESISTANCE.
It will always be there, even as you dig deep and do everything in your power to manifest the reality you want.
Being a grown-up means expecting those external circumstances to work against you.
Your best response? PUSH BACK.
Keep your inner world together, and the outside world will follow suit.
Dumbledore once told Harry Potter, “Help will always be given at Hogwarts to those who ask for it.”
Remember: the hero of the story is never a one-person army.
Harry had Hermione and Ron.
Luke had Obi-Wan and Yoda.
And you don’t have to fly solo in YOUR journey.
Think about the people in your inner circle – are they giving you the energy, motivation and inspiration to succeed?
If the company you keep sneers at growth and being better, maybe it’s time to look for other friends to round out your squad.
Seek people who lead by example and can show you how to overcome that resistance in your life.
Learn from them and let their enthusiasm rub off you.
While you’re at it, use technology to connect to like-minded folks who can help you in your quest. Open your phone or laptop and fire up YouTube, Vimeo or any other video streaming site.
TED talks, self-help lectures and tons of other empowering content are literally at your fingertips.
The Universe has too much abundance for you to ignore.
We’re part of a vast human network, and our collective energy affects everyone else in ways we can’t yet fully comprehend.
This network has always been around; the Internet merely accelerated it. Tap into it and unleash its power.
#5: Tune out your Negative Ned (or Nancy)
There’s always that voice in the back of your head that kicks in when life gets tough.
It loves whispering things in your ear, usually at the height of your frustration and despair:
- “You totally blew that one, why do you even bother trying?”
- “You had one job and you screwed it up like always…I’m not even surprised.”
- “Getting back on the horse, are we? I give it a week before you go back to your old ways. Better to quit while you’re ahead!”
- “You actually thought he was complimenting you? Oh, bless your heart…it’s called ‘small talk’ and ‘being nice’.”
If you’re like the rest of the human species, you’re going to run into those nasty folks called insecurity, self-doubt and fear.
They’re going to take up space in your head and try to drown you out with their noise.
Rumi, a 13th-century Persian poet and scholar, knew this well. It his poem “The Guest House”, he spoke an ancient truth about the human condition.
He likened all our thoughts and feelings – both good and bad – as visitors who stopped by the guest house of the soul.
And this line struck me the most:
“The dark thought, the shame, the malice. Meet them at the door laughing and invite them in.”
Once I understood what it meant, I realized that I didn’t have to resist it. I could simply let my obnoxious guests do their thing, and see them out.
It’s not about covering your ears and going, “La la la la! I can’t hear you!”
Acknowledging their existence in your head is NOT the same as letting them win.
The world’s greatest achievers go through bouts of darkness and anger like everyone else.
The main difference is that they use their failures as material for an instruction manual called “What NOT to Do and How to Do It Better The Next Time Around”.
#6: Ditch your story
You shouldn’t stop at managing your negative thoughts, however. You need to peel back another layer and go deeper.
Here’s the thing: you grew up on a set of beliefs, whether you’re aware of it or not.
Your parents, teachers, friends and pretty much everyone you knew growing up contributed to your programming.
You don’t know it, but you operate on this programming on a daily basis.
And it influences every decision you make – and how you choose to see the world.
Now this can be a good thing if you grew up around people who were positive, motivated and had a good outlook on life…
…but this is the real world we’re talking about, so NOT everyone had that kind of effect on you.
Somewhere along your journey, someone discouraged you in a subtle way, or put some sort of label that you can’t shake off.
Words like “Underachiever”, “Oddball”, “Loser”, “Nerd”, “Small Fry”, “Ugly Duckling” and “Black Sheep” come to mind…
…and each one is damaging in its own toxic way.
Sadly, most people carry this invisible weight their whole life.
But starting today, you can lay those bricks on the ground and walk away for good. You don’t have to carry that weight for anyone, especially not for THEM.
Stop living your story based on the false narrative that your negative programming created.
All those preconceived beliefs need to go if you want to attract happiness and prosperity in your life.
I’ve seen people achieve INCREDIBLE things – even the impossible – just by doing this one thing.
Lionel, a heroin addict from Michigan, was in and out of jail for the longest time.
But after overdosing within an inch of his life, he decided to ditch his old story.
Even after everyone gave up on Lionel and called him a “screw-up”, he turned it all around.
He let go of the labels that people had been putting on him for YEARS…
…and Lionel decided he didn’t have to be any of those things anymore.
Lionel created a NEW story for himself – one where he was finally free of his crippling addiction and lived a clean, sober life.
What kind of story do YOU want to live out?
#7: Make your affirmations “pop”
You might have heard of people making declarations about themselves to manifest them as truth, and not just as an opinion.
When you affirm some truth about yourself, it validates the awesomeness within you.
Words of kindness heal the soul and help forgive past failures.
In short, it’s about LOVING yourself.
After all, you can’t give what you don’t have.
However, saying “Boy I sure love myself!” doesn’t quite do the trick.
To make your affirmations stick in your subconscious, it needs to have a little something extra.
Don’t stop at “I love me!”- take it up another notch to really drive the point home.
Try these on for size:
- “I love myself so much that I want to use my gifts and share them with the world. I want to take this love inside me and use it to lift other people up.”
- “By sharing the love I have, I possess the power to change myself for the better, and the world around me.”
- “I am love, light, peace and prosperity. Anger, hate and scarcity have no power over me.”
- Aside from loving yourself, you can also infuse a dash of humor in your affirmations. Who says you have to be so grim with his Law of Attraction stuff, anyway?
When you add a bit of levity while you affirm yourself, it shushes your Negative Ned (or Nancy) into silence.
Try coming up with statements like these:
- “I’m so awesome that I kick mediocrity in its big fat butt!”
- “I’ve come here to be awesome at everything I do and kick major butt. And I’m all out of butts to kick.”
- “Did you say something, self-doubt? Sorry, I can’t hear you over the sound of my awesomeness!”
It’s all a matter of finding the right attitude and tone that suits you. Take a crack at making these affirmations, and you’ll soon find your true inner voice.
What matters is that you inject your affirmations with a serious amount of attitude, and above all, ENERGY.
Without that energy, you won’t give your messages enough “juice” to reach the Universe and show up on its radar.
Those who practice the Law of Attraction often combine these affirmations with their meditation sessions to hit two birds with one stone.
And the results are nothing short of phenomenal.

5 Powerful Ways To Attract Abundance In Your Life
By Heather Mathews
Author of Manifestation Miracle ⇦ [Link this text via your affiliate link]
“Don't accept the fear that scarcity exists in any corner of your life. There is enough love, enough time, enough healing to go around. Give what you wish to receive.” ― Jewel
Lisa, a stay-at-home mom of three kids, recently got back into the workforce. She decided to focus on raising her kids, so she put her property management career on hold for a while.
When Lisa's youngest child started going to junior high school (and her oldest one started college), she applied for a position as vice president of operations at a high-end shopping mall.
As it happened, the current person at the job was just about to leave because he was reassigned to a branch at another city.
So Lisa went to the interview, nailed it, and got the job.
Now, that might not sound so remarkable. On the surface, it all seemed like a straightforward process.
But here's the thing - Lisa used to work the same job at the same place before she opted to stay at home and take care of her family. And when she decided to get back on the old horse several months ago, Lisa had been trying to work there again.
She knew the people well and had a fantastic relationship with them. Plus, they have an excellent working environment, and the benefits were more than substantial.
The only reason she left was because of her kids, and now she was ready to get back at it again. The problem was that there weren't any vacancies at the company.
Lisa looked for work elsewhere, but she kept her eye on her old job.
In fact, Lisa was about to take an offer from another position she applied for but turned it down at the 11th hour when she got her lucky break.
Here’s the other interesting thing about it. Just a couple of days before Lisa got her old job back, she’d been learning and applying different ways to manifest abundance.
Her sister, Jocelyn, introduced her to the Law of Attraction and Lisa figured it was worth a shot.
Now, she thought that the breakthrough in her work situation might be just a case of plain luck.
But then, another funny thing happened…
Lisa’s car had broken down in the same week she got her old job back. It wasn’t anything serious, but the repairs came to a total of $147.65
At first, Lisa didn’t think much of it. But then, she got a letter from her bank saying that she got a sizeable rebate on her credit card for being a loyal customer.
You can probably guess exactly how much her cashback reward was.
Lisa was stunned. She’d been using the same card for years now, and never got any previous letters about a reward.
At that moment, Lisa knew it was more than just a random instance of good fortune. That letter she held in her trembling hand was a sign from The Universe.

Is It Luck or Destiny Calling?
A lot of people think that life is just a series of circumstances beyond their control.
They don’t understand the kind of power they wield, or how it can shape the course of their life.
Lisa’s recent experience showed her that she can attract the things she wants in life. Not only that, she has the incredible potential to influence her very destiny.
We ALL have this ability, and it’s just a matter of developing it like any other skill.
It all starts with mastering your mindset and cultivating the right habits. After that, you'll effortlessly attract more wealth, abundance and happiness than you know what to do with.
Here’s how to get started today:
#1: Light Up The World
When I think about abundance, there’s no better representation of it than the Sun. When was the last time you were worried there wasn’t enough light for everyone?
Have you ever been afraid that the Sun would go out one day? Probably not.
Sure, maybe billions of years from now, that might happen. But as far as human comprehension is concerned, that's not for another several eternities.
Now think about that light inside you. There's so much goodness, talent, and value that you can offer the world.
When you shine that light on other people around you, there’s no limit to the impact you can make on their lives.
And when you generously share this endless gift…
…you’ll find that it will come back to you in ways you’ve yet to understand.
#2: Unlearn Your Fear of Scarcity
Most of us are afraid that the worst is going to happen. We’re always stocking up, securing the hatches and steeling ourselves from dangers we’ve yet to face.
In a lot of ways, we’re prisoners of our own fears. It’s mostly because everyone has their share of negative life experiences.
It might leave someone a little jaded, change their outlook on life and make them defensive.
Worse, it closes their minds to the infinite possibilities and opportunities that life has to offer.
So, they usually have these kinds of thoughts in their head:
- “How can there be any good left in the world when it’s been so unfair to me??”
- “The idea of ‘having it all’ is a myth. You have to settle for whatever life gives you!”
But the fact is that you can have your cake and eat it, too. If you raise your frequency and tap into the energy of the Universe, you’ll find that it can give you everything you want.
When you embrace the reality that life is abundant as you want it to be, you don’t have to pick and choose…
…because it’s ALL yours for the taking!
#3: Detoxify Your Life
People often hold on to things in this world way longer than they should.
It could be junk sitting in your attic or basement. It can also be thoughts, experiences, and memories of events that have come to pass.
All of these might have served a purpose in the past. But as you evolve over time, you're not the same person you were so many years ago.
Your priorities and motivations have changed, and you have different needs now. You’re more focused and have a clearer sense of direction, so holding on to those things could be slowing you down.
Don’t let that toxic energy drag you back into past behaviors and thought patterns – it’s going to get in the way of attracting abundance in your life.
However, I’m not saying that you should throw away positive memories or experiences. Just let mentally go of the ones that don’t help you anymore, then move forward.
As for physical clutter, getting rid of it is also helpful from a psychological viewpoint. Look into the minimalism movement and figure out how to trim the fat wherever you can.
Joshua Fields Millburn and Ryan Nicodemus, known collectively as The Minimalists, are authors and filmmakers who talk about this topic.
They don't reduce the act of de-cluttering to merely getting rid of stuff. It goes beyond that, and here's what they had to say about it:
“Minimalists don’t focus on having less, less, less. We focus on making room for more: more time, more passion, more creativity, more experiences, more contribution, more contentment, more freedom. Clearing the clutter from life’s path helps make that room.”

#4: Rewrite Your Story
Everyone has a narrative in their head, and it’s often TOXIC.
The story they have about themselves is usually littered with damaging and disempowering labels. And people don’t even realize half the time that they’re doing this.
Like we talked about in the last point, people hold on to experiences and events for years and years.
This creates a distorted truth about who they are - and they repeat it in their mind over and over. Here are some examples of what I mean:
- “That kid from high school was right …you’ll always be that awkward loser who can’t get it together. That’s why you’re stuck in the hole you’re in now.”
- “Do you know why your partner broke up with you? It’s because you’re insensitive and don’t care about anyone else but yourself. No wonder you’re alone now.”
- “Your dad always said you didn’t have the guts to pursue an actual career. He knows you’re not strong enough to stand on your own two feet, that’s why he’s always bailing you out.”
These stories and beliefs shouldn’t get a vote in your life anymore. The less you feed them, the less power they’ll have over you.
Remember, part of letting go of that negative baggage is acknowledging it first. Once you’ve come to terms with that story in your head, you can begin rewriting it.
That way, you can create the space in your mind for abundance to GROW.
#5: Reinforce Your Reality
Mindset is crucial, but so is ACTION. You can have the most empowering thoughts in your mind, but doing something about it is the other side of that coin.
More importantly, taking action will help those thoughts of prosperity grow even more. So when you start executing that vision based on your abundant thoughts, it creates a positive feedback loop that feeds on itself.
This is why it's important to match every abundant thought with concrete action. This will REINFORCE the belief that gave birth to it in the first place.
Once you’ve set this cycle in motion, you can keep feeding it until it creates a ripple effect in your life. And even the smallest steps will ADD up and multiply exponentially.
Don’t ignore the little things you can do every day to support your mindset of prosperity.
Savor the small moments where you get to enjoy life’s abundance, then channel that positive energy into action.
Do the job that you have with passion and dedication, even if you’re thinking of resigning. Have brief but meaningful conversations with people, like the barista at your favorite coffee shop or even that co-worker you haven’t been that friendly with.
Looking at the bigger scheme of things, your positive actions put a particular kind of energy into the world.
And that energy will find its way back to you so you can keep doing the same thing, but on a bigger scale.
Lather, rinse, repeat.
In my experience, the BIGGEST challenge of getting into this positive cycle…
… is breaking out of a destructive one first.
That’s what I struggled with for the longest time in my life.
I know what's like to get caught in a vortex of negative thinking and harmful actions. Abundance was the farthest thing on my mind.
The irony was that I was supposed to be this successful person with the perfect job and the ideal partner. That's what everyone saw when they looked at me, at least.
What I felt inside was another story. I was trapped in the life that I made, and burned out from having to put up appearances.
It all changed, however, when I took a different approach to The Law of Attraction.
I tried it a few times before, but couldn’t quite manifest the kind of abundance I wanted.
I was getting frustrated with getting limited results…
…until I discovered a small but powerful shift that made ALL the difference.

Why You're Not Getting What You Want In Life (And What to Do About It!)
By Heather Mathews
Author of Manifestation Miracle ⇦ [Link this text via your affiliate link]
“How am I going to live today in order to create the tomorrow I'm committed to?” ― Anthony Robbins
Have you ever caught yourself making a bunch of excuses?
It’s always the same cycle: you come up with a life-changing idea…
…imagine what it would be like when you make it happen…
…then put up a wall of reasons why it can’t be done.
Tell me if the following sounds familiar:
“If I only had more time, I could learn how to speak Italian.”
“I'd get off the couch and go to the gym, but I'm just not feeling it today.”
“I’ll get around to writing that book after my schedule clears up. I’ve just been so busy lately!”
Mel Robbins, a motivational speaker, author and CNN commentator, knows this habit all too well.
After her husband’s restaurant business failed, her career floundered, and their savings dried up, she was stuck in a bad place.
And as she tried to take action and do something about her situation, that voice inside her wanted to stop her every step of the way.
But she realized that she couldn't make those changes because a part of her brain refused to.
Mel has done some research on this phenomenon, and science shows that the human mind protects a person from anything unfamiliar or uncomfortable.
That includes any attempt to break out of your situation. To your brain, any kind of change is threatening.
So if you’ve ever felt stuck in your life, or find yourself firing off a bunch of excuses to “protect” yourself from trying something new – you have your mind to thank for that.
And it manifests in ways that you don’t realize. We’re so ingrained in our mental habits sometimes that we don’t notice how we’re silently undermining ourselves.
So a little self-awareness is in order, don’t you think?
I want to bring to light some of the biggest reasons why you’re not pushing things to the next level.
I hope that once you can see these self-sabotaging habits for what they are, you'll step up and do something about it.
Here are the 5 Reasons Why You’re Getting in the Way of Your Own Success:
Click Here To Discover the Lazy Person's Secret To Get Everything You've Ever Wished For <= [Link this text via your affiliate link]
#1: You’re Running Away From Your Goals
It's a common problem for people not to have a clear course of action in their lives. They might have some big, nebulous goal in their head, but they're not breaking it down enough to make it doable.
They have this tendency to talk themselves out of trying because “it can’t be done.” They see their dreams as this mountain of a task they can’t even begin to take on.
To them, it’s just so massive and intimidating that it’s not even worth putting any energy into it. They content themselves with just thinking about the what-ifs instead of spending time on the how-tos.
But if they made the first step to break down those goals into smaller, manageable chunks…
…they’ll find that working on their dreams isn’t as hard as they thought.
At the heart of it, your goals are nothing more than a bunch of smaller tasks that you need to do every day, every week, and every month.
And most of them are pretty boring when you think about it. But put together, they add up to something huge.
So write down your goals, and keep it somewhere you can go through every day. Start with the major ones first, then break them down into smaller sub-goals underneath each of those.
Remember, unless you face the reality of making your dreams happen…
…you’ll be no closer to your goals than when you first thought of them.
#2: You Lack Vision
Aside from a lot of folks not having a clear set of goals, they don’t even have a sense of purpose to begin with. They’re drifting aimlessly in life, not really sure which direction they should take.
In the back of their minds, they’re thinking, “Me? Accomplish that big, scary thing and make a ton of money?”
“I’m fine making $25,000 a year, thanks. I don’t want to disappoint myself if I end up not doing it.”
But like I said, that’s just the fear talking. If you want to lose that feeling, you need to replace it with a positive one instead - like excitement for instance.
And to do that, why not get EXCITED about your dream scenario?
Visualization is helpful, but you need to paint a crystal-clear picture to get the FULL effect.
The first step is to think about what you want to happen, like putting up an Internet café or a yoga studio.
Ask yourself, "Why is this goal important to me, anyway? How do my values tie into all of this?"
Get to the core of it: Maybe you want to create more jobs in your community or teach people how to clear their minds and relax.
And what would it be like when you’ve accomplished your goals? Who would be the people around you, and what would they say?
How would it feel making those dreams happen?
Get as specific as you can and add as many details as you want. Once you've painted this vivid image in your head, you're already bridging the gap between thought and reality.
By setting your mental goalposts, it can give you the drive to take ACTION and start manifesting those desires into the real world.
#3: You Don’t Believe
Most people make the mistake of believing in something AFTER the fact. But the most successful people in the world do it the other way around.
As you’ve learned from the last point, you need to get excited about a vision before you can start working on it.
And the reason for doing this is to plant the BELIEF that it can happen in the first place.
Without it, you can’t create the space for that desired reality to exist.
So as counterintuitive as it sounds, you’ll have to believe in something before it can manifest itself in the real world.
But it’s not just a matter of telling yourself, “Ok, I believe I can earn enough from my side hustle to quit my full-time job.” The Universe won’t hear weak statements like that.
Instead, try using affirmations to empower yourself. These are declarations you can say out loud (or in your mind) to reinforce the reality you want.
When you repeat it enough times, you’ll cement those things you want to be in your subconscious.
Then you can start working on those goals you wrote down with a newfound sense of rock-solid confidence.
However, it’s crucial that you phrase these affirmations correctly. Pick a bunch of goals you want to accomplish, and act as if it’s happening in the PRESENT.
That way, you can start moving in that direction and make it happen.
Click Here To Discover the Lazy Person's Secret To Get Everything You've Ever Wished For <= [Link this text via your affiliate link]
For example, it’s not really useful to say, "One day, I'll become rich and be able to provide for my family."
Instead, you can rephrase that into a more powerful statement such as this:
"I am wealthy, and my life is filled with abundance every day. I use my wealth to provide for my family."
By acting like it's happening now, you're giving yourself something to aim for. As I said, belief comes before reality.
To get started, try spending 5-10 minutes on this every day (e.g., first thing in the morning or before bedtime work best). Soon enough, you’ll feel a change in how you go about your day.
#4: You Don’t Have a Plan B
As much as we’d like to live in a perfect world, the best plans can take a wrong turn.
Sometimes, the outcome you had in mind doesn’t align with reality. In cases like those, you need to know how to respond.
People often blame others or hit the panic button as a knee-jerk reaction. The better approach is to take control of at least some part of the situation, so it doesn't completely go down the drain.
I’ve found that you'll end up avoiding a disaster altogether with this one step.
It helps to have a contingency in place on the off-chance that something goes off the rails. You can plan ahead for potential problems, so you know what to do when the moment calls for it.
More importantly, you need to find the opportunity to grow even in the most challenging situations.
Ask yourself, “What part of this problem can I use to my advantage? How can I build on this situation, so I don't fall flat on my face?”
The more you embrace adversity, the better you can turn it on itself and come out on top.
As the Marines say, “Improvise, adapt and overcome.”
#5: You Lack Discipline
Jocko Willink, a former Navy SEAL and author, talks a great deal about this core value.
He says, “(Self-discipline) will take care of you like nothing else can… it’ll put you on that path to strength, health, intelligence and happiness. And most importantly, it’ll put you on that path to freedom.”
To cultivate discipline, it starts by making the decision to stay FOCUSED on your end goals. That’s going to take some sacrifices, such as staying up late, giving up unhealthy habits and resisting the desire to procrastinate.
The moment you get distracted from your goals, you’ll erode your foundation of self-discipline.
Studies show that people who can map out a clear a daily routine are more likely to stick to it. And in effect, that makes them more productive than others.
Like what you did with your goals, write down a schedule you can work with, and do your best to follow it.
FACT: Humans are wired to crave structure and routine.
It's an anchor for our minds, so we don't drift off into a limbo of wasted potential and mediocrity.
And when you get down to it, the reasons you're not making it happen all boil down to one thing.
It’s the voice inside you that says, “Why are you trying to change? Don’t you know how terrifying the great unknown is? Just stay here where it’s safe…”
I’ve dealt with that voice ALL my life, but I’ve found a way to shut it down so it doesn’t get a vote.

6 Steps For Maximum Motivation

“Of course motivation is not permanent. But then, neither is bathing; but it is something you should do on a regular basis.” ― Zig Ziglar
Michael, a husband and a father of two and in his early fifties, was a logistics manager at a frozen foods company.
He made enough to provide for his family, and by all accounts, they were doing alright…
… but he knew he could do MORE.
He’d been dreaming of making it out of his job and starting his own business. And on top of that, he wanted to lose weight.
His doctor told him was about 40 pounds overweight, and he needed to trim down. So he set out to get up earlier in the morning to make time for himself and work on his dreams.
He’d get up at 5:30 am to exercise, have a light breakfast and do some research on his business.
For the first month and a half, he stuck to his new routine. It felt empowering; Michael was motivated to get out of bed to get a jump start on his day.
What he didn't expect, however, was that he'd run out of steam. As the weeks went on, Michael felt worn out by the grind.
And little by little, his motivation slowly drained away. Instead of bolting out of bed, he went back to hitting the snooze button to get “five more minutes.”
But it stretched out to an hour, and just like that, he went back to his old ways.
Michael didn’t know what was happening to him.
Why was he so pumped when he started out - only to be so demotivated shortly after?
So, he looked into the topic of motivation to understand what was going on. Michael realized that motivation is a finite resource.
It was up to him to find ways to sustain that drive and keep going. After that, Michael got back on the old horse and gave it another shot.
Michael managed to find a way to deal with the ebb and flow of motivation he felt throughout the week. Whenever he was running on empty, he knew how to fill his tank again.

What Really Drives You?
Motivation can be elusive for a lot of people. As much as we’d like to have that feeling on tap, it just seems to dry up every now and then.
Motivation can make a massive impact on your life. Without it, it’s way harder to accomplish your goals and make your dreams happen.
A study from a network of universities in Spain shows that the neurochemical dopamine plays a crucial role in motivation. Dopamine used to be only associated with positive emotions, but as it turns out, it also affects your desire to get things done.
What happens is that this hormone fires in the brain while anticipating a desired outcome. This, in turn, can motivate a person to make that outcome happen.
In another study, scientists found that rats were more likely to go through obstacles to get to some food if they had higher levels of dopamine.
This shows that the feeling of motivation is something that comes from inside us. However, there are also external factors to consider.
And if you can put these together, you’ll create a healthy cycle. With that, let’s a look at how you can inject more motivation into your life:
#1: Jumpstart Your Dopamine Production
Physical activity is one way you can directly influence your brain chemistry and set the stage for feeling motivated.
Exercise is a great way to trigger the release of feel-good hormones. Aside from dopamine, there's also serotonin, adrenaline, and endorphins that can put you in a state of post-workout bliss.
Don’t underestimate the link between your overall health and mental well-being. These have a direct effect on your level of motivation, so make the time for cardio and other related activities.
But you don’t need to have an elaborate workout routine or splurge on fancy equipment and a gym membership. You can sweat it out on a budget by going on YouTube and making a playlist of basic exercises.
Talking walks is also incredibly beneficial, too. And best of all, you can spend as little as 15-30 minutes a day doing this.
As you keep up this routine, you’ll feel better about yourself and feel motivated to do more. Suddenly, you’ll find the time for longer workouts and start doing other exercises as well.
Try doing it with other activities like watching TV or listening to an inspiring podcast. Also, you can do it during your work breaks to stay energized throughout the day.
Starting with baby steps makes it less overwhelming to get into this habit. Ease yourself into it, and you’re more likely to build traction and stick to it.
#2: Get Inspired
Another way to light that fire inside you is by looking to other people who have the level of success you want. Study their process and the steps they took to get where they are today.
Chances are they have a book, video blog, podcast or some other medium where they teach other people to follow in their footsteps. Reading about their accomplishments and learning their story is an external source of motivation you can internalize.
Research from the American Psychological Association (APA) uncovered a phenomenon where you can create what they call “intrinsic rewards” by observing other people.
When you see someone enjoying what they do, that feeling is almost contagious. So in a way, these people can actually pass their motivation onto YOU.
#3: Get In The Driver’s Seat
Studies also show that the more you feel in control of a task or project, the more motivated you’ll be to see it through. On the contrary, feeling forced to do something drains your energy to get it done.
Most people don’t realize they act like their own boss and crack the whip on themselves. Not only is this approach demoralizing, but it's also incredibly demotivating.
Instead, try this little exercise:
Imagine negotiating with yourself, like a worker would with his or her boss. Discuss the things you need to get done today or this week and figure out what you'd get out of it.
In this dialogue, start off by telling yourself, “Ok, so you need to come up with five business ideas today and choose the best one. Also, you need to do cardio for 15 minutes, either in the morning or afternoon.”
Then you’d say, “Ok, but if I do that, I get to watch an hour of Netflix or catch up on my book… whichever I feel like doing later.”
After you’ve gone back and forth and worked out the terms, you can shake on it and get to work.
By giving yourself options to choose from, you’ll feel more empowered – which, of course, boosts your motivation in the process.

#4: Get Real With Your Goals
Further research from the APA shows that you have a higher chance of getting work done (by up to 90 percent, in fact) by breaking down your big goals into smaller, specific tasks.
By quantifying your goals with a specific metric (e.g., do 30 pushups and 10 burpees in 30 minutes), it feels more concrete and doable. Once you have these mini-goals in place, you can start tackling them one by one.
Write your big goals, then make a list of related tasks under each one. Do this a day in advance (like the night before) so you can hit the ground running first thing in the morning.
Then as you chip away significant chunks from your overall goal, the more motivated you’ll feel.
Every time you accomplish one of these smaller, specific goals, you’ll be rewarded with a small dose of dopamine. This will give you the push you need to keep going until you’ve cleared all of your tasks.
#5: Visualize Your Future
While it's crucial to get motivation from accomplishing your goals, it's also helpful to give yourself a dopamine boost before getting started.
As such, you'll find that it's hugely beneficial to develop the habit of creating a vivid picture of your desired outcome. Spend about 5-10 minutes every day visualizing yourself enjoying your dream life as if it’s happening now.
Like we discussed earlier, rats are more motivated to overcome those obstacles just by anticipating the reward for doing it. In the same way, thinking about the results of your hard work will release neurochemicals that will get you pumped for the task ahead.
Think about what it would FEEL like to finally get your big goals done. Imagine the people in your life congratulating you and complimenting you on your efforts.
When you know exactly what’s waiting for you on the other side, you’ll suddenly lose all the excuses that were holding you back.
#6: Positivity In, Negativity Out
Your beliefs also have a great deal to do with being motivated. Perception is a dominant force, and it can dictate the very course of your life.
Aside from visualizing the outcome, giving yourself the right beliefs is also an effective way to design your reality.
Affirmations are an excellent way to do this. These are statements you can repeat to yourself so you can rewire your belief system.
A lot of people operate on destructive beliefs because of bad experiences from the past. As a result, they go around carrying labels like "loser," "hopeless case" and "damaged."
Going through life with this kind of baggage won’t just destroy your motivation…
… but undermine everything you do every step of the way.
That’s why you need to rewrite that story in your head by using powerful statements.
Here’s how to get started:
Think about the qualities you have that will help you accomplish your goals. Also, think about the things you’re grateful for.
Use these thoughts as the basis of your affirmations. These will remind you that you have what it takes to break past your limitations.
As with visualizing, pretend that it’s happening at the PRESENT moment – and not at some point in the future.
That way, you’ll feel empowered from knowing that you’re living that great truth here and NOW.
Here are some examples of affirmations you can use:
- Every day, I am getting stronger, smarter and healthier.
- I am a strong person who can deal with every obstacle and challenge that I encounter.
- My life is filled with infinite opportunities to succeed, and I make the most of them every day.
- I am surrounded by people who love and support me, and they want me to succeed.
Feel free to use affirmations or create your own. The more detailed, the better.
It’s more effective when you say these affirmations (either out loud or in your mind) right after doing your visualization exercises. You can do them right before going to bed or make it part of your morning ritual.
All of these habits have helped me plug the leaks in my “motivation tank.” If I’m feeling a bit jaded, fatigued or burnt out, I make sure I’m doing each of these steps enough so I don’t run on empty.
On top of staying motivated, however, there's one more habit that got me out of my own funk.
You see, like Michael, there was a time where I couldn’t overcome that inertia I felt. I was successful and fulfilled on the outside, but people around me didn’t know I felt burned out and desperate.
I started to feel like an impostor… until I accidentally came across a life-changing secret.
By making a small but powerful change in my mindset, I suddenly found the power to become the most authentic version of myself.
And more importantly, I could attract every opportunity without working 80 hours a week. Just like that, all sorts of blessings flowed into my life effortlessly.
