But other people just can’t do the same.
In this article, we’ll talk about building resilience. So that whatever tragedy happens to you, you can bounce back.
There are several factors in resilience. One major factor in healthy relationships within and outside the family. The capacity to make realistic plans and follow through them also helps. A positive view of the world will help for sure. Communication and problem-solving skills are significant too. Another important thing is the ability to handle strong feelings and impulses.
These are factors that you can develop yourself.
With all these factors, the journey to building resilience can be a lot easier. If you’re missing some of them, don’t worry, it’s not impossible for you.
Here are 10 Ways to Build Resilience
Build Relationships
Relationships and close connections are important. Accepting the support and help from people who care about you will help build resilience.
Being in a support group, faith-based group, or other local groups can help bring back hope. Also, being the one helping other people can help you.
Having people that can listen to you without judgment will really help. Even if you don’t receive any advice, validation and comfort will feel great.
That’s what you need to keep in mind too when you’re trying to be there for someone. Sometimes, they don’t need any word from you. They just need you to be there and listen.
Challenges Are Temporary
Keep in mind that challenges are only temporary. Try looking forward to the near future and see that circumstances will not always be this bad. While doing that, live in the moment and take it day by day.
While we can’t change the fact that life will never run out of challenges for us…
…we can change how we respond.
You may have heard the saying: “This too shall pass.” Because it will pass. It’s temporary and tomorrow will be a better day.
Also, it will help to take note of when you’re feeling better whenever you’re going through a tough time. It can spring you back up to feeling hopeful.

What you need to do instead is focus on the aspects of your goals that you can change. Adapting may be easier said than done. And sometimes the process involves grief…
…but everything should be under the process of acceptance.

…if it moves you to where you want to go, then go for it.
The sense of accomplishment will bring back hope.
Be Decisive
